April 27, 2009:  CAT Names New Head Coach

The CAT board is pleased to announce we have hired Danielle DeBusk as Head Coach.

Danielle began her swimming career at 5 years old swimming w/ CAT.  As a swimmer she was a two year state qualifier, and qualified for the diving state meet three years.  She has been involved in coaching for the last 10 years - coaching swimming and diving with CAT, and assisting with school swim programs.

Danielle is a 4th grade teacher at Arnold Elementary in Cleveland, TN.  She and her husband, Britt, have two children.

She is very excited about the coming season.

A comment from Danielle's response to the board, and membership on her selection:

"Summer swimming has been a part of my life for twenty years now.  I made tons of friends from swimming and I have lots of great memories.  But in my years with the team I learned a lot more than just how to swim fast.  I don’t think I would be the person I am today without this team.  That’s why I love coaching at CAT. I love being a part of that learning process for your kids. "

Please join us in congratulating Danielle on her selection.
