Head Coach:
Coach Eric Frazier is Cleveland Aqua Tigers Head Coach and a level 1 USA Certified Swim Coach. He is originally from Knoxville, TN, where he graduated from Karns High School. While at Karns he played football, ran cross country, was a decathlete in track & field and was on the swim team where he qualified for State Championships all four years. Coach Frazier started his college career at Johnson Bible College and then transferred to Lee University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Physical/Health Education with a minor in Bible. He is presently employed with Cleveland Middle School working as an ISS instructor, PE teacher, Head Coach of Cleveland Middle School Swim Team, assistant coach of track and field and football.
Assistant Coaches:
Coach Tim Davis is the coach of the Senior Swimmers. He is currently the Head Swim Coach at Cleveland High School and a level 2 USA Certified Swim Coach. Coach Davis attended the University of Maryland where he played two years on the water polo team and was a part of the 1983 ACC Championship Team. Coach Davis grew up in California, where he attended Porterville High School. While at Porterville High, he swam varsity for four years and played four years on the varsity water polo team. Coach Davis, his wife Becky, and his three children have lived in Cleveland since 1991. He is the owner of Bent Twig Landscaping.
Coach Danielle DeBusk is our Junior and Intermediate coach. Coach DeBusk received a scholarship to play soccer at Tuscan Collage were she graduated with a degree in Education. She is currently a 4th grade teacher at Arnold Elementary. As a swimmer, she was a two year state qualifier and qualified three years for the diving state meet. Coach DeBusk has been part of the Cleveland Aqua Tigers since she was 5 years old. She has been involved in coaching for the last 10 years – coaching swimming and diving with CAT and assisting with school swim programs. She and her husband, Brett have two children and have lived in Cleveland all their lives.
Coach Paulina Carson is our Junior and Intermediate coach. She is presently enrolled at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga where she is majoring in Secondary Education. She has been on the Dean’s List and the President’s List. Coach Carson’s career goal is to teach high school History. She is a graduate of Cleveland High School where she swam for four years. Her credits include being a three time State Championship Team member and qualifying in the Backstroke, 200 Free, Medley Relay and Free Relay. Coach Paulina Carson is a Cleveland native.
